Steal speed
from gravity.

The player flies ballistic on real trajectories through the solar system, stealing speed from gravity to beat the clock. Mission control counts down, telemetry scrolls, the player nails the burn, and the ship whips out the far side faster than it came in.

The mission

The hidden machinery of the universe.

Slingshot Racer teaches orbital intuition by feel. The player absorbs gravity assist, the Oberth effect, and retrograde braking without ever seeing an equation. The first whip around a planet feels like magic. Then it becomes skill.

A racing ship built from salvaged parts: a small pressurized pod, strapped tanks, exposed struts, and one oversized engine bell.

The ship

Built in a Belter garage.

Salvaged parts, welded by hand. Mostly engine, with a seat bolted on. Nothing on it exists to look cool. Every piece is there because a physics problem required it, which is exactly why it looks the way it does.

The point of it

Built to slingshot the next generation of rocket scientists.
